So... Are the voids etched? I thought they were pierced after etching. Can't decide which I'd be more impressed by. both options are fabulous.
ReplyDeleteEtched, then the edges and eyeholes are sawed out. So the lacy bit by the nose is etched the whole way through, the rest is etched to texture and shaped by saw.
